About Northwich Drydock Company

Located on the beautiful River Weaver Navigation in Northwich, Cheshire, we are just a 30 minutes cruise from the world famous Anderton Boat Lift and the Trent and Mersey Canal.

We hope to achieve the following objectives:

• To restore the site to a working boatyard whilst retaining the current natural appearance.
• Incorporate modern safe working practices within the framework of historic assets.
• To promote the use of the River Weaver Navigation by improving the facilities and services offered to the boat owners.
• Encourage and educate the use of traditional techniques to maintain and restore boats.
